The Technician Training Course is one of the prerequisites for an Apprentice to take the Technician examination [Section 7.132 (m)(2)]. As required by Section 7.133 (c) the Technician Training Course will also satisfy the Structural Pest Control Service’s requirement for the re-certification of Commercial/Noncommercial Technician license
(condition of renewal, 8 hours of verifiable training).

This is the Technician Training Course, which covers general standards and not a category training. In addition, while the Texas Department of Agriculture does not require training as a condition of obtaining a Certified Applicator license, this class will prepare license applicants for the TDA General Standards examination. The class begins at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 5:00 p.m. with an hour for lunch (lunch is not provided). The deadline for registration is one week prior to the training date. Registration is $150.00 per person (Fee includes study manual General Standards – AES- 5073, and Structural Laws & Regs – AES- 6135).
