Reduce Risks of Pesticide Exposure by Using Proper Personal Protective Equipment - PPE

Resources

Many State Extension Services have published instructions for choosing and using personal protective equipment - PPE . Because pesticides can enter your body through various routes it is necessary to wear protective clothing and/or use protective equipment to prevent exposure. No safety recommendations cover all situations so use common sense and remember that more protective measures are needed as the pesticide toxicity increases. Always READ and FOLLOW the pesticide LABEL to see just what PPE is required.
