The Agricultural and Environmental Safety Unit of the Texas AgriLife Extension Service is working in collaboration with the Bridge School to offer additional educational opportunities to persons looking to further their education, receive their high school diploma, or get specific vocational training for employment in the pest control industry.

The Bridge School offers a variety of online high school courses and degree tracks that can be adapted to the particular learning needs of the student. All course material is online to allow the student to work at their own pace and does not require the student to attend class at a specific time. All courses are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Currently under development are vocational training courses in the various pest control categories defined by the Texas Structural Pest Control Service and the Texas Department of Agriculture. These training courses are being developed to offer specialized training for jobs in industries that apply regulated chemicals to control insects, weeds, or plant diseases that adversely effect our homes, businesses, food sources, or health.

The Bridge School is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement (SACS CASI).
